BABSON PARK, Mass. - The Babson Athletics Department recently announced the addition of new assistant athletic trainer Krystin Ojala, ATC, who will join the Sports Medicine Department under Director Rick Burr, ATC.
Ojala comes to Babson after earning her Bachelor's degree at the University of New Hampshire in May of 2006. This past spring, she received her Master's degree from Northeastern University, where she served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for two years. In addition, she has worked with the indoor track and field teams at Boston University, the men's hockey team at Boston College High School, and the JV men's basketball and baseball teams at Harvard University, while also working as a medical volunteer at the Boston Marathon in each of the last three years.
"Krystin is a great addition to our Sports Medicine staff," says Burr. "I'm confident that she will play a major role in our mission of providing the very best care for our student-athletes."
