Babson and St. Thomas will meet for the first time on Wednesday.

St. Thomas (4-6) has split its last four games following an 11-6 loss to Washington & Jefferson on Tuesday afternoon. Sophomore Sam Cobbs is hitting .357 with four doubles and four RBI, first-year Sam Schneider enters the day at .316 with three doubles and six RBI, and junior Hunter Hart is batting .276 with four doubles, a home run and seven runs batted in. Senior Mitch Larson, junior Ryan Zimmerman and sophomore Henry DeCaster, the Tommies' top three starters, have gone 4-2 with a 1.87 ERA and 52 strikeouts 43.1 innings.

Babson (5-5) was unable to hold onto an early 6-2 lead and saw its three-game winning streak come to an end in a 13-8 loss to Union on Tuesday. Sophomore Brian McHale is batting .440 with four doubles and seven RBI, junior Adam Ayala is hitting .348 with two extra-base hits, six runs scored and six stolen bases, and senior Jack Halpin owns a .326 average to go along with a double, a homer and seven runs batted in. Junior Teddy Carey and sophomore Michael Genaro have gone 3-1 with a 1.45 ERA and 33 strikeouts in 31.0 innings over five starts this spring.

The Green and White returns home following Wednesday's contest and is scheduled to open conference play with a doubleheader at Springfield on Saturday. The Beavers' home opener is set for Thursday, March 30 against Plymouth State.

Babson has recorded at least eight hits in eight consecutive games going back to its 12-11 loss at Trinity (Texas) on March 5.
