THE SERIES
Babson and UMass Dartmouth will meet for the 35th time on Monday afternoon in a series that dates back to 1976. The Beavers are 13-21 all-time against the Corsairs but have won seven of the last 10 games between the teams since 2005.

LAST MEETING
Senior Jack Halpin doubled, homered and drove in three runs as the Beavers edged UMass Dartmouth, 11-10, on April 11, 2016, in Babson Park. Junior Mark Webber homered and scored twice, while sophomore Connor Gill went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI for the Green and White, which built a four-run lead in the seventh inning. DeVon King and Ervin Kantardzic both had three hits for the Corsairs.

LAST UMASS DARTMOUTH WIN
Cory DeMedeiros homered and George Agostini went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBI as UMass Dartmouth defeated Babson, 7-4, on April 13, 2015, in New Bedford. Sophomore David Lennon drove in a pair of runs and junior Owen Shea scored twice for the Beavers, who took a 2-1 lead in the top of the fourth.

SCOUTING THE CORSAIRS
UMass Dartmouth (13-10) extended its winning streak to three with a sweep of Keene State on Saturday. Josh O'Neill smacked two of the team's four home runs as the Corsairs took game one 5-3 and edged the Owls, 8-7, in game two. Senior Taylor Cacciola is batting .461 with 10 doubles, four homers and 22 RBI, junior Zach Courier is hitting .375 with six extra-base hits and 11 RBI, and first-year Mike Knell has homered four times and tied for the team lead with 11 walks. Classmate Robbie Carrillo is 0-1 with two saves and a 3.12 ERA in 12 appearances out of the bullpen, while senior Dylan Collett has gone 3-0 with a 3.14 ERA and 31 strikeouts in 28.2 innings this spring.
 
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
Babson (10-8) won the second game of Saturday's doubleheader, 6-4, to take two out of three from defending NEWMAC champions Wheaton. Junior Ryan Arena smacked a two-run homer and Halpin went 2-for-4 with three runs scored in support of junior John Floegel, who allowed three unearned runs over 7.0 innings. Sophomore Brian McHale is batting .407 with five doubles, 10 RBI and 13 runs scored, Arena is hitting .321 with four homer and eight RBI, and Halpin has raised his average to .321 with five extra-base hits and a team-high 15 runs batted in. Sophomore Michael Genaro is 2-0 with a 0.86 ERA in 21.0 innings, while senior Ken Rotunno owns a 2.19 ERA in six relief appearances this spring.

STREAKS OF NOTE
First-year Sean Harrington owns the team's longest hitting streak of the year at 10 games, while Arena and senior Jake Weiss both have at least one hit in eight of the last eight outings.

ROAD DOGS
The Green and White, which is 8-5 away from home this season, is averaging 6.4 runs and has recorded 26 doubles and nine home runs in 13 games away from home.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
The Beavers are 8-1 this season when recording three or more extra-base hits in a game.
