Monday, March 25 | 3:30 p.m.
Govoni Field | Babson Park, Mass.

• Babson and Plymouth State will meet for the 11th time on Monday afternoon in a series that dates back to 2002. The Beavers and Panthers, who have split their 10 previous matchups, got rained out twice last season.

• Senior Dylan Gaita and Dallas DeFrancesco combined on a six-hit shutout as Plymouth State defeated the Beavers, 7-0, on March 30, 2017, in Babson Park.
• Ryan Richard went 3-for-5 with four runs scored and Jarek Krajewski drove in a pair of runs for the Panthers, who got six strikeouts over seven innings from Gaita. Babson left 10 men on base in the loss.

• Jack Halpin '17 and senior Brian McHale each drove in a pair of runs and Ken Rotunno '17 gave up just one run over seven innings as the Beavers defeated Plymouth State, 6-1, on March 23, 2016, at Govoni Field.
• Krajewski went 2-for-3 with a walk, while Luke Mancini doubled and scored for the Panthers.

• Plymouth State (7-6) split a doubleheader at Bates on Sunday, winning the opener 5-3 before falling 6-3 in game two.
• Junior Andrew Salta doubled and drove in two runs in game one and followed it up with a solo homer in game two for the Panthers.
• Sophomore Joe Routhier is batting .404 with four doubles and 13 RBI, senior Josh Goulet is hitting .354 with seven doubles, six home runs and 19 runs batted in, and junior Jimmy Zimolka boasts a .340 average to go along with six extra-base hits, 11 RBI and 22 stolen bases.
• First-year Derek Walker owns a 3.12 ERA in five appearances out of the bullpen and senior Alex Libby is 1-0 in two starts with 14 strikeouts and a 4.50 ERA in 10.0 innings.

• No. 21 Babson (8-2) has won seven consecutive games after recording a pair of one-run wins over Clark in a doubleheader on Sunday.
• Following a 1-0 10-inning victory in the opener, junior Jake Oliger had two hits and four RBI as the Beavers rallied to win with three runs in the bottom of the ninth.
• Senior Edward Lehr is batting .405 with five doubles and nine runs batted in, Oliger is hitting .378 with four doubles, a home run and 14 RBI, and senior Eric Jaun checks in at .351 with a triple and eight RBI.
• Senior Michael Genaro is 1-1 with a 1.13 ERA in 24.0 innings, while classmate Max Tannenbaum is 2-0 with two saves and a 1.80 ERA in five relief appearances.

• Genaro was superb on Sunday allowing just two hits and recording a season-high nine strikeouts in 9.0 innings as Babson defeated Clark, 1-0, in 10 innings.
• Although he doesn't get credit for a complete game, it marked the fifth time Genaro has recorded a nine-inning start and first since 2017.

• With two walk-off wins on Sunday, the Beavers have now gone ahead in the eighth inning or later on the way to winning four times this season and 11 times since the start of last year.
• The Green and White is 4-0 this season and 11-3 going back to the start of last year in one-run games.

• Oliger owns a 10-game hitting streak, while Jaun and McHale extended their hitting streaks to nine and seven games, respectively, on Sunday.

• The Beavers have recorded at least one extra-base hit in nine straight games.
