Watch Saturday's Game Here

—The Babson College Department of Athletics and Recreation will introduce the top-ranked men's basketball team on Facebook Live this Saturday at 3 p.m. when the Beavers hosts MIT at Staake Gymnasium in a rematch of last year's New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Tournament championship game.

The game will be simulcast on Facebook Live and Stretch Internet, Babson's live video streaming provider. In his fifth year with the Beavers, John Cabral will have the call. Cabral has called multiple Babson-MIT games, including the 2016 conference championship.

In addition to the traditional broadcast, the Facebook Live platform will provide Babson fans and followers an interactive experience. Engagement opportunities include viewers comments showing beside the live action and post likes while reacting to the game action in front of them on their mobile devices and/or desktops.

During the broadcast, there will be fun facts and series notes between the basketball rivals who were the last two NEWMAC programs to compete at an NCAA Division III Final Four. The Senior Day pregame and halftime alumni ceremonies also will be covered. Additionally, trivia questions during the intermission will give viewers the opportunity to win Babson Athletics gear and prizes.

With Babson's alumni scattered throughout the world, streaming to Facebook Live creates another way for Athletics to engage with alumni, students, faculty and staff, prospects, family and friends in addition to connecting with new fans.
