MIDDLEBURY, Vt. -- The Babson College men's golf team posted a team score of 313 for the second straight day as the Beavers finished ninth out of 25 teams at the 2010 Duke Nelson Invitational at Middlebury College. Babson finished 20 strokes off the winning pace set by tournament champion Renssalaer Polytechnic Institute.
Beavers' junior Camilo Perlaza carded a 76 for the second day in a row to finish 12th overall with a two-round total of 152. Junior Joe Young followed up Saturday's 76 with a round of 78 to place 24th overall at 154, and senior Bryan Eger rebounded from a tough opening round to fire a 77 on Sunday, tying him with senior teammate Eric Tidman for 64th with a combined score of 161. Senior Matt Foley rounded out the Beavers' lineup, placing 99th with a 167.
Babson returns to action next weekend, when the Beavers compete at the Williams Invitational.
