WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- The Babson College men's golf team had four players break 80 on Sunday, as the Beavers moved up three spots to finished 10th out of 18 teams at the 2010 Williams Invitational.
After posting a team score of 328 on Saturday, Babson rebounded in impressive fashion on Sunday, as four different players came in under 80. Junior captain Joe Young (Westwood, Mass.) and senior captain Bryan Eger (Hopkington, Mass.) each turned in rounds of 76, junior Camilo Perlaza (Cali, Colombia) added a 77, and senior Eric Tidman (Holden, Mass.) fired a 79. The 308 gave the Beavers a two-round total of 636, taking the squad from 13th place to 10th place in the final team standings.
For the tournament, Young finished 14th overall with a total score of 152, while Eger came in 34th with a 158. Perlaza placed 44th with a score of 160, Tidman followed in 65th with a 166, and sophomore Paul Caso (Amherst, N.H.) rounded out the lineup in 88th with a 180.
