CRANSTON, R.I. -- The Babson College golf team wrapped up its 2010-11 season at the Johnson & Wales Wildcat Invitational at the Cranston Country Club on Sunday and Monday. The Beavers's two-round team score of 652 placed them ninth out of 18 teams at the event.
Senior captain Bryan Eger fired rounds of 76
and 80 to finish in a tie for eighth place with a total score of
156 in his final collegiate meet. Senior Eric
Tidman was close behind in 14th place with a 158 (80-78),
followed by sophomore Paul Caso in 53rd with a 168
(80-88), senior Matt Foley in 61st with a 170
(81-89), and senior Matt Doherty in 75th with a
Monday's event capped off a stellar campaign for Babson, which included a victory at the Trinity Invitational, a second-place effort at the NECC Championships, and a fifth-place performance at the Hampton Inn Spring Invitational at UMass-Dartmouth.
