CRANSTON, R.I. – The Babson College golf team completed its weekend showing at the Johnson & Wales Fall Invitational at the Cranston Country Club on Saturday, finishing eighth overall with a two-day team score of 700.
For the second straight day, junior Daine Biluk (Calgary, Ablerta) and first-year Chris Maguire (Waltham, Mass.) turned in the Beavers' low round, as each carded an 85 to finish in a tie for 21st overall with a two-day score of 168. Sophomore Andrew Lepine (Litchfield, N.H.) shot 86 on Saturday to move up to 33rd overall with a total of 179, while senior Jed Drake (West Simsbury, Conn.) and first-year Michael Han (East Granby, Conn.) rounded out the Babson lineup in 36th and 37th place, respectively.
The Beavers conclude the fall portion of their 2012-13 campaign on October 28-29, when they compete at the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championships at the Captains Golf Course in Brewster, Massachusetts.
