2014 UMASS-DARTMOUTH INVITATIONAL RECAP:
The Green and White was tied for eighth place after the opening round of last year's UMass-Dartmouth Invitational, but posted its worst team score of the season in the second round and finished in 13th overall. Junior Vijay Vasandani finished with a 36-hole total of 168 to tie for 34th position for the Beavers, who opened the final round just 18 shots off the lead.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS:
Babson opened the spring portion of its schedule last weekend, coming in 11th at the Rhode Island College Invitational. Despite rainy and windy conditions at times, first-years Pranav Mohan and Kyle Alexander each shot 79 in the final round, and were two of just 10 players to break 80 on Saturday. Mohan tied for 13th overall with a 36-hole total of 15-over 159, while Alexander came in tied for 37th with a two-round total of 165. Senior Jay Ruvane and junior Chris Maguire both finished in a tie for 55th, and Vasandani, who shot an opening-round 79, came in 64th overall.
