Men's Golf Headed Back To NCAA Tournament

BABSON PARK, Mass.—After claiming an automatic bid with its New England Collegiate Conference Championship (NECC) victory back in early October, the Babson College men's golf team was one of 41 teams selected to compete at the 2015 NCAA Division III Men's Tournament at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro, N.C., when the field was announced on Monday afternoon.

Led by second-year head coach Jeff Page, the Beavers  are one of 32 teams to earn an automatic bid to the championship, and will be making their ninth NCAA Tournament appearance. The Green and White came in 10th at the 1972 Division II Championship, and posted its best Division III finish in 1982, coming in 13th overall.

All 41 teams will play 18 holes on Tuesday, May 12, and Wednesday, May 13, with the top 15 squads advancing to the third and fourth rounds. A full NCAA Tournament preview will be posted later this week.
