Men's Golf Places Second at Elms Invitational in Regular Season Finale

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass.—Junior Pranav Mohan (Fremont, Calif.) shot a 3-over par 74 to help the Babson College men's golf team finish second at the Elms Blazer Invitational at the Orchards Golf Club on Monday afternoon.

The Beavers recorded a team score of 309 to finish nine shots behind Trinity. Rhode Island College (312) came in third, while UMass Dartmouth (317) and Westfield State (318) rounded out the top five.

Mohan, who was making his first start of the spring, made a pair of birdies and tied for fifth place overall. First-year Martin Jensen (Bronxville, N.Y.) tied for eighth with a 4-over round of 75, while sophomore Riley Whitham (Harvard, Mass.) made three birdies on his way tying for 10th position with a 76.

Junior Andrew Neal (Chevy Chase, Md.) finished in a tie for 27th place after shooting an 84 in his season debut and senior Bobby Quirk (East Greenwich, R.I.) tied for 31st with an 85.

Babson, which posted four runner-up finishes in six events this spring, will now prepare for the NCAA Division III Championships, which begin on May 16 at the Mission Inn Resort at Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla.
