A veteran member of the Babson Athletics Department, Mike Vassalotti is currently in his 26th season as golf coach. Vassalotti has resurrected the program over the last decade and a half, leading the Beavers to league championships in nine of the last 15 seasons (the NEWMAC conference was dissolved in 2004) and NCAA Tournament bids in 1995, 2000, 2001, and 2002.

A native of Newton, Mass., Vassalotti is an accomplished player who has developed several All-Americans and New England All-Stars over the years. The NEWMAC Coach of the Year in four of its final six seasons, Vassalotti has helped Babson become a force in the ultra-competitive New England golfing ranks, consistently recruiting quality student-athletes to the Babson campus.

NOTE: Babson will join the New England Collegiate Conference beginning in 2009-10.
