• Senior Tommy Munichiello and first-year Matt Wiesner both scored twice as the Beavers defeated Southern Maine, 6-4, on November 3 in Babson Park.
• Sophomore Nick Rosa and first-year Mike Egan both contributed a goal and two assists for Babson, which led 6-2 early in the third period. Junior Cody Braga finished with a goal and an assist for the Huskies.

• Dan Rautenberg scored a pair of second-period goals and Braely Torris made 28 saves as the sixth-seeded Huskies defeated thiord-seeded Babson, 2-1, in an ECAE East Tournament quarterfinal on February 28, 2012, in Babson Park.
• Mike Driscoll '15 scored the Beavers' lone goal 3:23 into the first period.

• Southern Maine (2-10-2, 2-6-1 NEHC) returned from its month-long break with a 5-1 loss to Nichols on Tuesday night.
• Senior Tyler Mathieu scored a first-period goal for the Huskies, who fell behind after allowing three power play goals in the span of 2:12 midway through the second period.
• Braga (8-3-11) is tied for seventh in the league in goals, Mathieu (5-4-9) has scored three times on the power play, and first-year Adam Winters (3-6-9) is second on the team in assists.
• Junior Paul Leger and sophomore Anthony D'Aloisio have combined to post a 3.92 goals against average and a .871 save percentage in 13 starts this winter.

• No. 15 14 Babson (11-3-1, 6-1-1 NEHC) extended its winning streak to three with a 4-2 win at Curry last Saturday.
• Munichiello, Egan, sophomore Patrick Flynn and first-year Max Torrez all scored in the third period for the Beavers, who erased a two-goal deficit for the second game in a row.
• Rosa (10-8-18) is tied for third in the league in points, Munichiello (5-10-15) and Egan (5-10-15) are tied for fourth in the NEHC in assists, and first-year Matt Wiesner (9-5-14) is second on the team in goals.

• The Green and White, which has rallied from two-goal deficits in back-to-back games, is outscoring its foes 27-10 in the third period on the year.
• The Beavers' third-period dominance also has been part of their league success as they own a 15-6 scoring edge and have tallied the most goals while allowing the fewest over the final 20 minutes in NEHC play.

• After missing the Beavers' first 14 games of the season, Torrez made his collegiate debut a memorable one when he put away a feed from senior Stevie DeForge for the go-ahead goal at 12:00 of the third period on Saturday at Curry.

• The Green and White, which slipped out of both polls back on November 26, returned to the national rankings on Monday.
• Babson totaled 53 points to come in 14th in the poll and 47 points to finish 15th in the poll.

• Babson's top line of Black (1-3-4), Rosa (1-1-2) and Egan (1-2-3) has combined for three goals and six assists over the last two games.
• Sophomore Cooper Norton (1-2-3), who had a hat trick in last year's win over Southern Maine in Gorham, and first-year John Corrigan (0-3-3) have each recorded a point in three straight games.

• The Beavers are 7-0-1 this season when allowing two or fewer goals.
