Saucier Named Pilgrim League Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week

Babson Park, Mass. – Babson College senior goalkeeper Mike Saucier (Nashua, N.H.) has been named the Pilgrim League men’s lacrosse Player of the Week.  This marks the first weekly award for Saucier in his career.

Saucier went 2-0 with a 7.00 goals against average, a .632 save percentage, and 16 ground balls in leading Babson to a pair of victories this week. He made 10 saves and picked up 10 ground balls in a 12-9 win over Salve Regina on Tuesday, and then turned away 14 shots with only five goals allowed to go with six ground balls in a 9-5 win at the University of Scranton on Saturday.

On the season, Saucier has an overall record of 3-3 in goal for the Beavers and currently ranks second on the team with 25 groundballs. Babson will host Plymouth State University on Thursday afternoon at 4pm at MacDowell Field.
