Babson and UMass Dartmouth will meet for just the third time on Thursday afternoon. The Beavers are 2-0 against the Corsairs in a series that began in 2002.

Brendan Coan '16, Spencer Low '16 and Taylor Segreti all scored three times as Babson stormed past the Corsairs, 21-6, on April 6, 2016, in Dartmouth. Junior Axel Brown finished with two goals and two assists, while classmate Jack O'Donoghue contributed five ground balls and two caused turnovers for the Beavers, who scored 19 goals over the final three quarters. Bo Prozinski had three goals and one assist for UMass Dartmouth.

UMass Dartmouth (1-1) erased an early three-goal deficit on its way to defeating Norwich, 9-8, for its first win of the season on Sunday afternoon. Senior Anthony Gallo and first-year Donovan Prozinski both scored three times for the Corsairs, who were victorious despite winning just 7-of-21 face-offs. Prozinski (6-2-8) is one of four players on the squad with seven ground balls, while senior Sean Peters (2-3-5) leads the team in assists. Junior Ed Insogna is 9-of-18 at the face-off X and classmate Matt Daly has caused a team-high five turnovers. Senior goaltender Matt LaFond has posted a 10.50 goals against average and a .632 save percentage in two starts.

Babson (1-2) is looking to snap a two-game skid after suffering a 13-12 overtime loss at Union on Sunday. Sophomore Niall Dillon scored four goals and O'Donoghue contributed two goals, six ground balls and four caused turnovers for the Beavers, who forced the Dutchmen into 29 miscues on the day. Dillon (6-4-10) and sophomore Brendan Duffy (5-4-9) have combined for 19 points, and first-year Owen Allen (6-2-8) has scored the team's lone man-up goal. O'Donoghue leads the Green and White with 19 ground balls and seven caused turnovers, while the duo of junior Connor Maloney and Kevin Klempner have won 35-of-77 face-offs. First-year goaltender Christopher Aranalde has posted a 9.74 goals against average and a .603 save percentage in three appearances.

First-years Tyler Patterson and Luke Talman both recorded a career-high three caused turnovers, while seniors Daniel Madden and Zach Cattaruzza both forced a pair of miscues on Sunday at Union.

Brown (2-2-4), Duffy (2-1-3) and Dillon (2-0-2) were three of seven players that notched at least two goals in last season's win over UMass Dartmouth.

The Green and White ranks 10th in Division III in caused turnovers per game (14.33) and is 15th in clearing percentage (91.2).

The Beavers have allowed just four third-quarter goals in three games this season.
