O'Donoghue, Cattaruzza Named to NEWMAC All-Conference Team

BABSON PARK, Mass.—Babson College junior Jack O'Donoghue (Scituate, Mass.) and senior Zach Cattaruzza (Guilford, Conn.) both collected New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) honors when the league released its postseason awards on Tuesday.

O'Donoghue, who has established himself as one of the top defenders in the region, was named to the all-conference first team for the second year in a row after leading the Beavers with 95 ground balls and a career-high 42 caused turnovers. He led the NEWMAC in caused turnovers, ranked fourth in ground balls and finished 20th in Division III in caused turnovers per game (2.50).

Cattaruzza earned all-conference honors for the third year in a row after scooping up 52 ground balls and finishing with 25 caused turnovers in 16 contests. He tied for second in the league in caused turnovers, and concluded his career with 223 ground balls and 103 caused turnovers in 67 games.

Babson wrapped up its season at 8-8 after falling to Springfield in the NEWMAC Tournament semifinals last Wednesday.
