Blumenthal is in his first season as an assistant coach for the Babson College men's lacrosse program. A 2003 graduate of the University of Rhode Island, Blumenthal came to Babson after spending the 2008-09 season as an assistant coach at Adelphi University, where he also received his Master's degree in Sports Management in August 2009. Prior to that, he spent four years as the head varsity lacrosse coach and sports information director at Palmer Trinity School in Miami, where he led his team to a top-10 finish in South Florida in three of his four seasons. Blumenthal also served as associate head coach and offensive coordinator for the U19 Bermuda National Team in the summer of 2008, and he is currently an assistant coach for the Bermuda Men's National Team.
While at Rhode Island, Blumenthal played three seasons as a
member of the men's lacrosse team, including the 2001 campaign
which saw the Rams win the Pioneer League Championship. He also
worked in a number of high profile public relations departments
during and after his time at URI, including various roles for the
New Jersey Storm of the NLL, the New York Power of the WUSA, the
National Lacrosse League, and the National Hockey League.
