5/29/09 - M Lacrosse
After netting 41 goals and 51 points in his final collegiate campaign, Babson College senior E.J. Peterson (Framingham, Mass.) has been selected to play in the 2009 New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) East/West All-Star Game to be held on Sunday, May 31, at 1 p.m. at Tufts University. Peterson is one of eight attacks chosen to play in the event, which features a mix of the top Division I, II, and III players from the region. Peterson earned Pilgrim League All-Conference First Team honors for the first time in his career this spring after leading the Beavers and ranking second in the league with 41 goals. He also ranked second on the team with 10 assists, giving him 51 total points for the season. [+]


5/18/09 - M Lacrosse
The Pilgrim League recently announced its men's lacrosse postseason awards, and five Babson College athletes received honors. Senior E.J. Peterson (Framingham, Mass.) was named All-Conference First Team, while senior Matt Enright (Bristol, R.I.) and junior captain Max Artz (Gates Mills, Ohio) were selected to the All-Pilgrim League Second Team. Peterson and Enright also joined senior captain Max Owen (Hamilton, N.J.) and first-year Cam Caruso (St. Charles, Ill.) on the Academic All-Conference Team. [+]


4/29/09 - M Lacrosse
The Springfield College men's lacrosse team put on an incredible offensive show in the opening 15 minutes of play, scoring 16 goals, as it defeated visiting Babson College, 24-4, in the Pilgrim Lacrosse League Championship semifinals on Wednesday evening at Stagg Field. With the loss, the Beavers see their season come to a close with a record of 5-11. Sophomore Mike Saucier posted 10 saves in net for Babson, while senior co-captain Bryan Wilbur finished with two points and added six ground balls in his final game. [+]
