BABSON PARK, Mass.—Following a 2017 campaign that saw both the men's and women's team reach the United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association (USCSA) National Championships, second-year Babson College head coach Sam Bensley released the program's 2018 schedule on Thursday afternoon.
The Beavers will kick off five straight weekends of MacConnell Division competition with the giant slalom and slalom at Okemo Mountain in Vermont on January 11-12. The Green and White will take part in the slalom at Pat's Peak and the GS at Ragged Mountain in New Hampshire on January 20-21, which is followed by a pair of giant slalom races at Whiteface Mountain in Lake Placid, N.Y., on January 27-28.
Babson will return to New York for slalom and GS events at West Mountain in Queensbury on February 3-4 before wrapping up the regular season with back-to-back slalom races at Proctor Ski Area on February 10-11. Following a weekend off, the Beavers return to West Mountain for the USCSA Eastern Regional Championships on February 24-25.
The top five teams at regionals qualify for the USCSA National Championships, which will be held from March 6-10 at Whiteface Mountain in Lake Placid.
