2009 NEWMAC MEN'S SOCCER TOURNAMENT

For the second consecutive year, Babson College will host the semifinals and finals of the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Men's Soccer Tournament on November 7-8. Below is some basic information about this year's tourney.

Wednesday, November 4, 2009 - at higher seeds
#2 Wheaton def. #7 Springfield, 2-1
#6 Clark tied #3 Coast Guard, 1-1 (Clark advances on PKs)
#4 WPI def. #5 MIT, 2-1

Saturday, November 7, 2009 - at Babson College (Hartwell-Rogers Field)
Semifinal Game 1: #1 Babson def. #4 WPI, 2-1
Semifinal Game 2: #2 Wheaton def. #6 Clark, 3-2 (2OT)

Sunday, November 8, 2009 - at Babson College (Hartwell-Rogers Field)
Championship Game: #1 Babson  vs. #2 Wheaton - 1:00 PM

Tournament winner will receive an automatic bid to the 2009 NCAA Division III Tournament.

Cost:
$5 for adults
$3 for children and senior citizens
$1 for students with ID (Babson students with ID and Babson apparel will be admitted free courtesy of the Athletics Department)

Multimedia Coverage:
All three games at Babson will be streamed live through Stretch Internet. All broadcasts are free to the public, and do not require sign-up. Each game will also feature live stats.

Once on campus, proceed from the Main Gate up Campus Drive straight through the 3-way stop. Bear left to remain on Campus Drive until you reach another stop sign (you will see Babson's tennis courts on your left). Turn left and then immediately bear left again. Parking will be available on the top deck of our parking garage on your right, or further up in the horseshoe-shaped lot on your left. The soccer field is located to your right as you face the Webster Athletic center.

Note: If necessary, additional parking should be available on your right at the stop sign at the end of Campus Drive.
