BABSON PARK, Mass.—Babson College seniors Ian Fromhein (Osterville, Mass.), Jackson Greenspan (Meriden, N.H.) and Noah Parker (Hampden, Maine) have been selected to take part in the New England Intercollegiate Soccer League (NEISL) Division III Senior All-Star Game.
The match, which will be hosted by Brandeis University, its set for 1 p.m. on Sunday at Gordon Field.
The Beavers' senior trio helped the program capture its second New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) regular season title in three years this fall. The Green and White went 5-0-2 in conference play and finished the year with an overall mark of 12-3-4 after falling to Springfield in the league tournament final back on November 3.
A three-time All-NEWMAC honoree, Greenspan was selected as the league's defensive player of the year after helping the Beavers keep 11 clean sheets on the year. He started all 19 matches and recorded a career-high five assists, four of which came in the team's final six contests.
A two-time all-conference selection and the 2018 NEWMAC Player of the Year, Parker produced a career-high seven goals to go along with six assists for a career-best 20 points this season. The program's first conference player of the year honoree since 2012, Parker started all 19 matches this fall and finished his Babson career with 50 points in 77 outings.
Fromhein appeared in 15 games and made two starts this past fall after missing all of the 2017 campaign due to injury. He converted a penalty kick in the Beavers' 1-1 double-overtime draw at WPI on September 15, and scored four career goals in 32 matches for the Green and White after transferring from Wheaton prior to the 2016 season.
