WALTHAM, Mass.—The Babson College swimming & diving teams won four events and posted six runner-up finishes in their dual meet at Bentley University on Tuesday night. The Beavers suffered a 124-95 loss to the Falcons in the men's meet, while the women were defeated, 131-75, by the hosts.

The Babson women were led by senior Paris Ekman (Fargo, N.D.) and sophomore Tessa Amoroso (Rowley, Mass.), who finished first and second in both diving events. Ekman won the 1-meter event with a score of 249.89, while Rowley earned first-place honors on the 3-meter board with a total of 266.87.

First-year Tirza Rentovich (Harrisburg, Pa.) was the runner up in 50-yard freestyle and senior Madeline Dupre (Fiskdale, Mass.) finished third in the 1000-yard freestyle. Sophomore Maria Orive (Guatemala City, Guatemala) came in fourth in the 200 free and earned nine points for the Beavers in the 500 free later in the meet. First-year Cassandra Collins (Branford, Conn.) also recorded a fourth-place finishing in the 200-yard individual medley and also contributed four points in the 100-yard breaststroke.

In the men's half of the meet, the Green and White was led by junior Mitchell Posk (Boynton Beach, Fla.), who was a part of three victories on the night. He broke a meet record by 0.07 seconds to win the 100 free with a time of 49.04, and also took the 50 free with a time of 22.10 before combining with senior Kevin Shivers (Mercersburg, Pa.), junior Ross Ojerholm (Worcester, Mass.) and first-year Michael Cerny (Windsor, Conn.) to claim a first-place result in the 200-yard freestyle relay in the meet's final event. Shivers also posted a runner-up finish in the 100-yard backstroke with his time of 56.79.

First-year Jack Lucero (Huntington Beach, Calif.) was victorious in the 500-yard freestyle and senior Anton Pronichenko (Palisades, Calif.) won the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:01.38. Lucero added a third-place finish with a season-best finish in the 200 free, while fellow first-year Alex Damiecki (Centerville, Mass.) was the runner-up in the 200-yard IM and earned four points for the Beavers in the 100-yard breaststroke.

Junior Alex Grant (St. Petersburg, Fla.) came in third in both 1000 free and 100-yard butterfly, while first-year Jason Trefry (Danvers, Mass.) recorded third-place results on both the 1- and 3-meter diving boards.

Babson returns to action on Thursday when it hosts Bridgewater State in its regular season finale beginning at 6 p.m. inside Morse Pool.
