WESTWOOD, Mass.—Four members of the Babson College men's swimming & diving team were recognized for their work in the classroom when the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) announced its Academic All-Conference team on Tuesday.

Senior Ross Ojerholm (Worcester, Mass.) was honored for the third year in a row, juniors Adam Kershner (Scottsdale, Ariz.) and Kenneth Mun (Hacienda Heights, Calif.) were named to the team for the second year in a row, and senior Mitchell Posk (Boynton Beach, Fla.) was recognized for the first time.

Ojerholm, who was part of the Beavers' school record in the 400-yard medley relay last winter, produced his top times of the season in the 50-yard freestyle (22.81) against Bentley on January 16 and in the 100-yard freestyle (49.69) against Coast Guard on January 11. Posk owns the team's top five times in both the 50- and 100-yard freestyle, Mun has recorded Babson's top five results in the 200-yard breaststroke, and Kershner registered his top performances of the season in the 200 free (1:53.83) at Wheaton on January 13 and the 200-yard backstroke (2:13.86) in the regular season finale on February 3 at Bridgewater State.

Academic all-conference honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2017 fall semester, achieved second year academic status at his institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.

Babson (10-4), which collected double digit dual-meet victories for the first time since 2002, will wrap up the season at the four-day NEWMAC Championships beginning on Thursday, February 22.
