WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- The Babson College men's tennis team sent three players to compete at the 2012 ITA Championships at Williams College this weekend, as sophomore Ramone Doyley (Kingston, Jamaica), first-year Roberto Perez (Pozuelo de Alarcon, Spain), and first-year Isaac Thylen (Surfside, Fla.) each represented the Beavers at the annual event.

Thylen and Perez each lost their opening-round matches in the singles portion of the competition. Perez fell to Brandon Roode of Nichols College, 7-5, 6-3, in his first-round match, while Thylen was defeated by Andrew Lutz of Tufts, 6-0, 7-5.

In the doubles bracket, Babson's top duo of Perez and Doyley dropped its first-round contest, falling to Andrew Yaraghi and Ben Fife of Amherst by a score of 8-2.

The Babson men have just two more events remaining on the fall portion of their 2012-13 schedule. The Beavers will host Nichols on Monday at 3 p.m. before traveling to Wesleyan for a 3 p.m. matchup with the Cardinals next Friday.
