THE SERIES: Babson and Nichols have only met twice since 2000, as the teams have split a pair of matches over the last two seasons.

LAST SEASON'S MEETING: The Bison erased a 2-1 deficit following doubles play by winning four singles matches en route to a 5-4 win over the Beavers on March 4 at the Boston Sports Club in Babson Park.

LAST BABSON WIN: Seniors Mitchell Henry and Simeon Human picked up a win at number one doubles and Henry earned a three-set win at number one singles to help Babson cruise to an 8-1 win on March 10, 2011.

NICHOLS OVERVIEW: The Bison (3-0) will be playing their first dual match since shutting out Springfield 9-0 back on September 19. Nichols will face four of the NEWMAC's six teams this fall, having already beaten Coast Guard (6-3) to go along with an upcoming date with MIT. Senior Josh DeLuca, first-year Eduardo Irizarry, and sophomore Brandon Roode are all a perfect 3-0 in singles play, while the doubles pairings of Irizarry and Roode, and DeLuca and Isiah Proper are also unbeaten.

BABSON OVERVIEW: The Beavers (1-1) won their first match of the 2012-13 season last Wednesday, blowing past Roger Williams 8-1. Human, sophomore Ramone Doyley and first-years Roberto Perez and Victor Vu all earned victories in singles and doubles play while another pair of first-years, Davin Garcia and Isaac Thylen, earned their first career singles victories. The Green and White will wrap up the fall season on Friday when they head to Wesleyan University.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS: Babson is 12-1 against Commonwealth Coast Conference opponents since the start of the 2008-09 season.
