CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.—The Babson College men's tennis team saw its four-match winning streak come to an end with a 7-0 loss at Boston College in non-conference action on Friday afternoon at the Flynn Recreation Complex.

Babson, which was taking on a Division I foe for the third consecutive season, is now 5-5 on the year, while Boston College improves to 4-10 overall.

The Eagles jumped in front after doubles with victories in all three matches. Sophomore Brandon Rosenbluth (Pound Ridge, N.Y.) and first-year Jonathan Ben-Rey (Las Vegas, Nev.) fell 6-3 at number two, while the Beavers' pairing of junior Dylan Levy (Miami, Fla.) and first-year Dylan Pace (Atherton, Calif.) dropped a 6-3 decision at number three.

Boston College cemented its win with straight-set victories in all six singles matches. First-year Alberto De Mendiola (San Jose, Costa Rica) suffered a 6-2, 6-2 loss at number one, while Rosenbluth was beaten 6-3, 6-1 at number two. Sophomore Ho Wang Alastair Ng (Hong Kong) had Babson's top performance in singles play before falling 7-6, 7-5 at number four.

The Beavers return to action on Wednesday at 4 p.m. when they visit MIT, while the Eagles host NC State on Sunday at 12 p.m.
