BABSON PARK, Mass.—Five players earned points in both singles and doubles play as Babson College opened the spring with a dominating 9-0 victory over visiting Endicott College at the Boston Sports Club on Saturday afternoon.
With the win, Babson is 1-0 on the year, while Endicott falls to 2-2 overall.
The Beavers wasted little time taking control of the match with three victories in doubles play. Sophomore Alberto De Mendiola (San Jose, Costa Rica) and junior Brandon Rosenbluth (Pound Ridge, N.Y.) were 8-3 winners at number one, sophomores Dan Levitan (Winter Park, Fla.) and Dylan Pace (Atherton, Calif.) won 8-3 at number two, and first-years Chris Kolesnik (Staten Island, N.Y.) and Cameron Gruss (Kittery, Maine) were victories by the same score at number three.
All six singles matches were decided in straight sets, starting with senior Dylan Levy's (Miami, Fla.) 6-1, 6-0 triumph at number six. De Mendiola was a 6-3, 6-0 winner at number one, while Rosenbluth cruised to a 6-2, 6-1 victory at number two.
Kolesnik won 6-4, 6-0 at number three, Levitan won a second-set tiebreaker to post a 6-2, 7-6 (7-5) victory at number four, and Gruss capped the shutout with a 6-2, 6-2 triumph at number five.
Both teams return to action next Saturday as Babson travels to Connecticut College at 10 a.m., while the Gulls begin play at the PTR Spring Fest.

• Babson has now won 10 of its last 11 matches when leading after doubles.
