Men's Tennis Blanks Clark, 9-0

WORCESTER, Mass.—The Babson College men's tennis team had 10 players pick up a point as it cruised to a 9-0 victory over Clark University in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) action on Saturday afternoon at the Corash Tennis Courts.

Babson, which extended its winning streak to three, is now 8-3 overall and 2-0 in league play, while Clark drops to 2-9 overall and 0-3 in the NEWMAC.

Junior Brandon Rosenbluth (Pound Ridge, N.Y.) and first-year Chris Kolesnik (Staten Island, N.Y.) breezed to an 8-2 win at number one doubles, while senior Ben Roque (Coral Gables, Fla.) and first-year Andre Libnic (Coral Gables, Fla.) posted an 8-2 result at number two. Sophomores Dylan Pace (Atherton, Calif.) and Dan Levitan (Winter Park, Fla.) collected the Beavers' final doubles point with an 8-3 victory at number three.

Libnic and Rosenbluth both won 6-3, 6-3 at first and second singles, while Levitan rallied from a first-set loss to win 3-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-4) at number three. Senior Dylan Levy (Miami, Fla.) recorded a 6-1, 6-2 victory at number four, first-year Cameron Gruss (Kittery, Maine) held on for a 6-2, 4-6, 1-0 (10-2) triumph at number five, and sophomore Jonathan Ben-Rey (Las Vegas, Nev.) collected his first win of the year with a 6-2, 6-3 decision at number six singles.

Babson, which had Sunday's match against Colby cancelled, will host Springfield on Wednesday at 4 p.m.

• The Beavers are 29-2 all-time against Clark and have won the last eight matches between the teams.
• Babson has won eight of its last 10 matches in the month of April.
• Libnic and Levy both won their 10th singles matches of the year on Saturday, while Levitan extended his singles winning streak to four.
