Levitan, Pace Collect NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Honors

WESTWOOD, Mass.—Babson College men's tennis sophomores Dan Levitan (Winter Park, Fla.) and Dylan Pace (Atherton, Calif.) were recognized for their work in the classroom when the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) announced its Academic All-Conference team on Thursday morning.

Levitan, who was named to the squad for the first time, has won four straight matches to improve to 9-2 overall in singles and 6-1 at number four. He is also 6-4 in all doubles competitions, which includes a 4-3 mark at number three and a pair of wins against conference foes.

Pace also earned the first academic all-conference award of his career and is currently tied for second on the team in doubles after earning his fourth consecutive win on Wednesday afternoon. He is 10-3 in all matches and 3-0 against league foes, in addition to going 1-1 in singles play.

Babson (9-3, 3-0 NEWMAC) can wrap up a conference tournament berth when it takes on Emerson at St. John's Prep in Danvers on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
