Tufts University won all three doubles matches and five of six singles contests to claim an 8-1 win over host Babson College in non-conference men's tennis action at the Boston Sports Club on Friday night. With the win, the Jumbos improved to 2-1 on the year, while the Beavers lost their second straight to even their record at 2-2. The Babson College men's tennis team suffered its first loss of the season on Thursday, as the Beavers fell to host Wesleyan University in a close match, 5-4. The Cardinals remained unbeaten at 4-0 with the win, while the loss dropped Babson's record to 2-1. Babson junior Austin Conti and sophomore Taylor Dutton recorded an 8-5 win at number three doubles, but Wesleyan took the other two pairings to take a 2-1 lead in the overall match. [+]

Seniors Alex Kamergorodsky (Millis, Mass.) and co-captain Brian Lafayette (Burlington, Vt.) added an 8-3 triumph at number one, while sophomore Nissim Cohen-Sabban (Chula Vista, Calif.) and junior Justin Albert (Newton, Mass.) completed the sweep with an 8-4 win at two.
