The Babson College men's and women's track & field teams will continue to prep for the NEWMAC Championships when they compete at the University of New Hampshire Wildcat Invitational for the fourth consecutive season on Saturday. The field events will get underway at 11 a.m., with the track events starting at 1 p.m.

The Beavers set one school record and posted four postseason qualifying times in a non-scoring meet on April 12, 2014, in Durham, N.H. Sophomore Paris Ekman set a program record in the pole vault, reaching a height of 9-feet, 9-inches, while senior Marina Capalbo came in third in the 1500 meters and ninth in the 800 meters for the Babson women. In the men's half of the meet, senior Mark Gulesian finished fifth in the 1500 meters, and Vickrum Nabar '14 posted an eighth-place result in the 400 meters. Junior Chris deLeon also recorded an eighth-place finish in the 3000-meter steeplechase.
The Green and White is coming off of a strong meet last Saturday as it won two events and set a pair of school records at Fitchburg State. First-year John Decker won the 800-meter run with program-record time of 1:55.09, while sophomore Melissa Perlman set her second record in as many weeks with a toss of 33-feet, 5.25-inches in the hammer throw. Capalbo came in second in both the women's 800 meters and 1500 meters, while Gulesian posted a personal-best time of 1:56.74 to finish just behind Decker in the men's 800-meter run. First-year Ryan Colaco came in 10th in the 1500 meters and 14th in the 800 meters, while junior Kim Dvorakfinished 14th in the 100-meter dash and 16th in the 200-meter dash for the Babson women.
