Track & Field at MIT Last Chance Meet
Thursday, May 18—6 p.m.
Don and Sherie Morrison Track—Cambridge, Mass.

THE SETUP
Junior John Decker, sophomore Angelina Raffone, and Babson's men's 4x400-meter relay team will have one more opportunity to improve their standing before Saturday's NCAA Championships selections when they compete at MIT's last chance meet on Thursday night.

WHAT TO KNOW
Decker enters Thursday's meet with the 10th fastest time (1:50.98) in Division III this season in the 800-meter run. He is also part of the men's 4x400-meter relay squad along with senior JD Greenfield and sophomores Matthew Dynan and Gabe Ficht, which moved up to 31st nationally in the event after posting a school-record time of 3:16.70 at the NEICAAA Championships last week.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
Raffone was one of just two individuals to compete at the NEICAAA Championships at Williams last weekend where she placed 20th in the prelims of the 100-meter dash. Her time of 12.54 was just 0.16 seconds off her school record set back on April 29 at the NEWMAC Championships. The Beavers' 4x400-meter relay team shattered their previous school record by nearly two and a half seconds and earned All-New England honors with their seventh-place showing. Decker, who did not compete in the 800 meters last week, came in first in the event with his school-record time of 1:50.98 at the NCAA New England Championships on May 6 at Williams.

WHAT'S AHEAD
The NCAA National Championships will run from May 25-27 at Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
