SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Babson College men's track & field senior Matthew Dynan (Reading, Mass.) was the lone Beaver competitor at the Swarthmore Last Chance Meet on Monday Night.
Dynan, who toed the line for the first time since garnering individual all-region honors at the 2019 NCAA New England Championships, placed 11th in the third heat of the elite men's 1500-meter run. Dynan's time of 3:58.98 placed him 59th overall in the field of 143 athletes and was the 20th fastest Division III mark. Furman Junior Ryan Adams (Hudson, Ohio) crossed the finish line first in 3:42.57 to edge out Rob Napolitano (Brick, N.J.), a professional athlete who runs for the New Jersey-New York Track Club.
The Beavers return to action on Wednesday as senior Angelina Raffone (Westbrook, Conn.) heads to Williams College to compete in the 100-meter dash, while Dynan is set to compete at MIT on Thursday.
