The Red Hawks responded quickly recording goals in the seventh and fourteenth minute. Off a corner insert from sophomore Kelley Watson (Bridgewater, N.J.), junior Amber Haslett (Butler, N.J.) notched her thirteenth goal of the season to tie the game at 1-1.
A pass from Haslett and a shot on the right wing by junior Kailey Dalgauer (Whitehouse Station, N.J.) gave Montclair State the game winning goal with a final score of 2-1.
The teams combined for ten shots and seven corners in the second half; however, neither was able to convert on any attempts.
