Lenaghan, Fligor Sweep NEWMAC Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week Awards

WESTWOOD, Mass.—Babson College senior Lexi Lenaghan (Hanover, Mass.) and sophomore Cricket Fligor (Weston, Mass.) swept the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) weekly awards on Monday afternoon. Lenaghan repeated as the league's offensive player of the week, while Fligor was tabbed as the defensive player of the week for the second time this spring.

Lenaghan continued her torrid pace with 14 goals and two assists for 16 points in a pair of wins for the Beavers. She scored eight of her career-high 10 goals in the first half and dished out two assists for a career-best 12 points in Wednesday's 24-5 victory at the University of New England. On Saturday, Lenaghan tallied a team-high four goals on just six shots as the Beavers edged Springfield, 14-10.

Fligor turned a pair of strong performances posting a 7.50 goals against average and a .516 save percentage to help Babson run its winning streak to four. She made six stops in Wednesday's 24-5 win at UNE and followed it up by turning away 10 shots, including three big saves late in the second half to help the Beavers hold off the Pride in a rematch of last year's NEWMAC final.

Babson (6-3, 2-0 NEWMAC) is off until Saturday when it travels to Smith at 12 p.m.
