Kerester Collects NSCAA All-New England Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo.—Following a breakout junior campaign, Babson College forward Olivia Kerester (Chappaqua, N.Y.) was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) NCAA Division III Women's All-New England third team late Wednesday night.

An All-New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) first-team selection this fall, Kerester garnered all-region honors for the first time. She played in all 23 matches, including 17 starts, and finished with career highs in goals (7), assists (4) and points (18) while helping the Beavers reach the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.

Kerester, who was selected as the NEWMAC Offensive Co-Player of the Week after scoring twice in an October 11 victory over Bowdoin, finished second on the team in goals and points. She also notched one game-winning goal and set up another game-winning tally.

Babson, which recorded the third most wins in program history this fall, reached the NEWMAC Tournament championship game and went 14-4-5 overall after losing 1-0 to defending champion Lynchburg in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
