The Babson College Department of Athletics and Recreation will bring Tuesday afternoon's women's soccer game to Facebook Live at 3:30 p.m. when the Beavers host New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) foe MIT on Hartwell-Rogers Field.

The game will be simulcast on Facebook Live and Stretch Internet, Babson's live video streaming provider. In his third year with the Beavers, Craig White will be on the call.

In addition to the traditional broadcast, the Facebook Live platform will provide Babson fans and followers an interactive experience. Engagement opportunities include viewers comments showing beside the live action and post likes while reacting to the game action in front of them on their mobile devices and/or desktops.

There will be fun facts and series notes between the conference foes who played to a double-overtime draw at home during last year's regular season. MIT enters Tuesday's action ranked ninth nationally in the D3soccer.com poll and 13th in the United Soccer Coaches poll.

Additionally, a trivia question during the halftime intermission will give viewers the opportunity to win Babson Athletics gear or prizes.

With Babson's alumni scattered throughout the world, streaming to Facebook Live creates another way for Athletics to engage with alumni, students, faculty and staff, prospects, family and friends in addition to connecting with new fans.
