BABSON PARK, Mass.—Babson College women's soccer head coach Nellie Pineault released her program's 2019 schedule on Tuesday morning.
The Beavers will face a pair of teams that participated in the 2018 tournament, and a total of eight programs that won 11 or more games last season.
The Green and White hosts St. John Fisher in its season opener on August 30 as part of a four-game home stand to begin the season. Babson welcomes Bowdoin to Hartwell-Rogers Field on September 4, and will face back-to-back Little East Conference foes Eastern Connecticut State on September 7 and UMass Boston on September 10.
The Beavers travel to Brandeis on September 14 and return home to face Bates on September 21 before beginning a four-game road trip with a visit to Endicott on September 24. The Green and White will start New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) play at Clark on September 28, which is followed by trips to WPI on October 1 and Wheaton on October 5.
Five of Babson's final eight matches will be played at home, beginning with a test against Union under the lights on MacDowell Field on October 9. The Beavers return to Hartwell-Rogers Field to take on Coast Guard on October 12 before heading to western Massachusetts to face Springfield on October 16 and Smith on October 19.
The Green and White hosts defending NEWMAC regular season and tournament champions MIT on October 22, and will conclude the month with home fixtures against Emerson on October 26 and Wellesley on October 29. The Beavers close out the regular season at Mount Holyoke on November 2 before turning their attention to the seven-team NEWMAC Tournament, which begins with the quarterfinal round on November 5. The conference semifinals will be held on November 7 and the league final is set for November 9 at the highest remaining seed.
