Sarah Dacey enters her fifth season as head coach of the Babson women's soccer program. In her first four years at the helm, she has guided the Beavers to a solid record of 39-22-16, including stellar postseason runs in two of the last three seasons. In 2006, Babson tied perennial national powerhouse Wheaton in the conference semifinals before falling in penalty kicks, and in 2007, the Beavers advanced to the conference finals for the first time in 10 years.

Following her graduation from the University of North Carolina in 1998, Dacey served as an assistant coach at Boston College, Providence College, and the University of Tennessee until February of 2001. She then played professionally for the WUSA's Carolina Courage and Boston Breakers until 2003, when she took over as head girls' soccer coach at the Fay School in Southborough, Massachusetts. Also an athletic associate at Fay, she guided the varsity program to undefeated seasons in each of her two years there.

A four-year letterwinner and three-year starter under legendary coach Anson Dorrance at UNC, Dacey helped lead the Tar Heels' soccer program to three National Championships while earning Honorable Mention All-American honors in 1996. She was also a three-year member and two-time All-American selection in women's lacrosse, leading the Tar Heels all the way to the Final Four on two occasions.
