THE SERIES
Babson and UMass Boston will meet for the 22nd and 23rd times on Wednesday in a series that dates back to 1987. The Beavers are 13-8 all-time against the Beacons and have won four straight matchups between the teams since 2014.

LAST MEETING
Senior Ali Reilly and sophomore Brooke Stock combined on a five-hit shutout as Babson defeated UMass Boston, 3-0, on April 12, 2017, in Boston. Stock struck out 10 over four innings and junior Annie Quine doubled and drove in a pair of runs for the Beavers. Junior Roxanne Vento was 2-for-2 with a double for the Beacons.

LAST UMASS BOSTON WIN
Sue Killilea went 3-for-4 at the plate and scored twice as the Beacons took advantage of five unearned runs in a 6-3 win over Babson on March 13, 2011, in Clermont, Fla. Caitie Funk '13 was 3-for-3 with a double and two runs scored for the Beavers, who made four errors in the loss.

SCOUTING THE BEACONS
UMass Boston (2-8) has dropped six consecutive games after suffering a 4-1 loss to Scranton back on March 15 in Clermont, Fla. Kelly Danahy tripled and drove in the lone run for the Beacons, who were limited to three hits while making four errors in the setback. Danahy is batting .360 with three extra-base hits and five runs batted in, Vento is hitting .333 with three doubles, a homer and six RBI, and junior Taylor Pawlina has two doubles and three RBI to go along with a .308 average in 10 starts. Sophomore Jess Greenspan (1-4) has gone the distance in five of her seven starts and owns a 2.50 ERA in 36.1 innings pitched.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
No. 13 Babson (7-4) had its five-game winning streak snapped in a 6-1 loss to Juniata last Tuesday in Clermont, Fla. Sophomore Victoria Casey went 2-for-3 with a run scored and Quine added a triple for the Beavers, who allowed six doubles in the loss. Sophomore Jacqueline Paul is batting .455 with one double and 16 runs batted in, Quine checks in at .405 with five extra-base hits and nine RBI, and junior Josephine Mares is hitting .378 with two extra-base hits, five walks and 11 runs scored. Reilly (5-0) has a 2.81 ERA to go along with 24 strikeouts in 32.1 innings, while Stock (2-3) boasts a 2.63 earned run average and 31 strikeouts in 29.1 innings.

RECORD-SETTING REILLY
In her win against Wisconsin-Eau Claire back on March 18, Reilly became the program's all-time leader in both appearances (89) and innings pitched (487.2). She also has won her last 13 decisions going back to April 23 of last year and needs to just one more victory to tie Meghan Gaskell '06 as Babson's all-time wins leader with 50.

STREAKING BEAVERS
Quine and sophomore Tori Roche both enter Wednesday's twin bill at UMass Boston having hit in seven consecutive games. Paul has also reached base in each of the Beavers' 11 contests this spring.
