Babson and Framingham State will meet for the second year in a row and for just the third season since 2002 in a doubleheader on Wednesday. The Beavers are 11-5 all-time in a series that dates back to 1988 and have won 10 in a row against the Rams.

Sophomore Tori Roche hit an RBI double in the top of the ninth and senior Ali Reilly lost her no-hit bid with two outs in the bottom of the frame as the Beavers edged Framingham State, 1-0, in an NCAA Tournament elimination game at the Babson Park Regional on May 13, 2017. Reilly retired the first 20 batters she faced and allowed just an infield single to Rams' senior Dayna Marchant.

The Rams defeated the Beavers, 10-1, in the second game of a doubleheader on April 12, 1994, in Babson Park.

Framingham State (11-11) has won three straight after blanking Lesley 8-0 in six innings in the back end of a doubleheader on Tuesday. Marchant, sophomore Mycala Moody and senior Anna Dziok all drove in two runs apiece for the Rams, who won the opener against the Lynx 10-2. Marchant is batting .562 with nine extra-base hits, 18 RBI and 28 runs scored, Moody is hitting .364 with four doubles and 12 RBI, and senior Megan Downing boasts a .462 on-base percentage to go along with four doubles and a team-high 19 runs driven in. Junior Kelsi Gunarathne is 5-4 with a 2.48 ERA in 59.1 innings, while first-year Grace Caughey has gone 4-2 with a 4.17 ERA over 40.1 innings pitched on the year.

Babson (14-7) has won two straight games after finishing off a sweep of Clark with an 18-6 five-inning victory on Tuesday. Junior Annie Quine was 3-for-4 with a homer and four RBI, while sophomore Kayla Schinik and first-year Jamie Hoffman each drove in three runs apiece for the Beavers, who downed the Cougars 3-1 in game one. Junior Ashley Tango is batting .381 with six doubles and 12 runs batted in, Quine is hitting .377 with seven extra-base hits, 17 RBI and 19 runs scored, and sophomore Jacqueline Paul checks in at .333 with one double and a team-high 19 RBI. Reilly is 8-2 with a 2.39 ERA and 59 strikeouts in 64.1 innings, while sophomore Brooke Stock (5-4) boasts a 2.02 ERA and has fanned 53 in 55.1 innings.

Wednesday's games at Framingham State will be the ninth of 10th of the season against teams that participated in the 2017 NCAA Tournament. Babson is 5-3 over its first eight games against tournament foes, which includes wins over Christopher Newport, Wisconsin-Oshkosh and William Paterson.

Tango, who leads the Green and White with seven multi-hit games, and junior Alex Corrigan both have at least one hit in three consecutive games. Additionally, senior Samantha Smith has reached base safely in nine consecutive outings.

Babson finished with a season-high eight extra-base hits in Tuesday's game-two win over Clark, which included two doubles apiece for Tango and Hoffman and the first triple of the season for Schinik.

The Beavers are 13-0 this season when finishing with more hits than their opponents.
