SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. -- The Babson College women's tennis team secured the third seed in the upcoming New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Tournament on Saturday, thanks to an 8-1 victory over host Mount Holyoke College in the regular season finale for both teams.
As a result of the Beaver victory, Babson (7-3 overall, 4-3 NEWMAC) and Mount Holyoke (5-4 overall, 4-3 NEWMAC) join Wheaton College in a tie for third place in the final regular season standings.
