Women's Tennis Finishes California Trip With Loss to Williams

CLAREMONT, Calif. -- The Babson College women's tennis team suffered its third straight defeat on the final day of its spring break trip to California on Thursday, as the Beavers lost to regional power Williams College, 9-0.

Babson was held to just nine games won in the contest, with Tori Paolino and Alexis Ferraro posting the closest doubles match, 8-3, at number two and Alex Freeman taking three games in her 6-0, 6-3 loss at number one singles.

The Beavers now return home from their west coast trip with an overall record of 8-7. They will close out their 2012-13 campaign with a trio of road matches, the first of which takes place at Brandeis on Wednesday, March 27, at 3 p.m.
