Babson and Simmons will meet for the 14th time since 1994 on Wednesday afternoon with the Beavers having won all 13 of the previous matches.

Current senior Sarah Whitaker and current juniors Alex Freeman and Alexis Ferraro all picked up straight-set singles victories as Babson cruised to a 9-0 win over Simmons on April 7, 2012 in Boston.

Simmons (3-1) has won three straight matches, including a 9-0 victory over Clark on Saturday afternoon. Sophomores Meghan Cokley and Rachael Downey, along with first-years Theresa Reinhard and Sofie Epshtein, all won in both singles and doubles play to help the Sharks cruise to an easy win. Reinhard and Cokley are both 3-1 on the year in singles play while Coakley has paired with senior Margaret Teague for three victories at number one doubles. 
Babson (2-0) is coming off its second blowout victory of the season on Saturday as it opened up NEWMAC play with a 9-0 victory over Springfield. The Beavers have cruised to two easy victories so far this season, winning all 12 of their singles matches in straight sets. Whitaker, Freeman and Ferraro, along with Courtney Fischer, sophomore Tori Paolino and first-year Dina Weick are all 2-0 on the year in both singles and doubles play.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS: The Beavers are 14-1 since the start of the 2011 in matches played in the months of August and September.
