BABSON PARK, Mass.—After competing in three tournaments and one dual match back in the fall, Babson College women's tennis coach Jim Berrigan released his program's 2018 spring schedule on Thursday.
The Beavers, who won 10 matches last season, kick off the spring by hosting St. Lawrence at the Boston Sports Club on March 4. The Green and White will take on Colorado College, Hope and Hamilton during its March 18-22 trip to Orlando, Fla., before returning home to take on Emerson in its New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) opener on March 27.
Babson will host nationally-ranked Bowdoin and Springfield in a doubleheader on March 31, which is followed by a trip to Smith on April 3. Following a home date with Mount Holyoke on April 7, the Beavers travel to Wellesley (April 10) and Clark (April 15) before returning home to face Colby on April 15.
The Green and White hosts Wheaton on April 17, which is followed by non-conference matches at Connecticut College on April 19 and at home against Brandeis on April 20. The Beavers close out the regular season at MIT on April 24.
The six-team conference tournament gets underway on April 28. The top two seeds will host semifinal matches on May 1 with the winners advancing to the NEWMAC final at the highest seed on May 5.
