Tamarkin and sophomore Alexa Tutecky (North York, Ontario) won 8-1 at number one, Merz and Madison registered an 8-4 victory at number two, and junior Emily Roeper (Belle Mead, N.J.) and first-year Mary Kille (Simsbury, Conn.) breezed to an 8-0 triumph at number three.
