THE SERIES
• Babson and Colby-Sawyer will meet for the 12th time on Wednesday in a series that dates back to the 1994-95 campaign. The Beavers are 7-4 all-time against the Chargers and have won six consecutive matches in the series.

LAST MEETING
• Alexis Ferraro '15 and Dina Weick '17 both earned points in singles and doubles to help Babson knock off Colby-Sawyer, 5-0, in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament on May 8, 2015, in Williamstown, Mass.

LAST COLBY-SAWYER WIN
• The Chargers defeated Babson, 6-3, on September 12, 2000, in New London, N.H.

SCOUTING THE CHARGERS
• Colby-Sawyer (12-5) snapped a two-match losing streak with an 8-0 win over Saint Anselm last Sunday.
• Yashu Yang, Maddy Gemerek, Aislinn O'Connor and Hilary Boucher all won in both singles and doubles for the Chargers, who captured their first GNAC Tournament championship back in the fall.
• Yang is 14-2 at number one singles, O'Connor has gone 10-1 at number three, and Anna Kopituk boasts a 7-1 mark at number four.
• Kopituk and Yang are 12-4 on the year at number one doubles, while Boucher and Alexa Conlin have gone 7-3 at number three.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (12-5) saw its eight-match winning streak come to an end in an 8-1 loss to 16th-ranked MIT on Tuesday.
• Sophomores Carolina Merz and Marissa Madison collected the lone point of the match for the Beavers with an 8-6 win at number two doubles.
• Merz and Madison lead the team with 14 singles wins apiece, junior Emily Roeper is 12-6 overall and 7-0 in league play, and sophomore Nastasia Tamarkin has won eight of her last nine matches to improve to 11-5 this spring.
• Tamarkin and sophomore Alexa Tutecky have gone 8-3 at number one doubles, while Madison and Merz are 8-1 at number two and 14-4 in all matches this season.

TAMARKIN, TUTECKY SWEEP NEWMAC WEEKLY HONORS
• For the first time in her career Tamarkin was selected as the league's singles player of the week on Monday. She won once at number two and claimed two victories at number three singles last week.
• Tamarkin and Tutecky, who are ranked 15th in the ITA northeast region rankings, went 3-0 at number one doubles with two conference wins last week.

PREPPING FOR THE POSTSEASON
• The Beavers will be the No. 2 seed in next week's NEWMAC Tournament and will play host to either third-seeded Wellesley or sixth-seeded Springfield in a semifinal match next Tuesday at the Babson Tennis Complex.
• The Green and White advanced to the conference tournament final before falling to MIT last season.
