BABSON PARK, Mass.—Coming off a 2017 campaign that saw the Beavers combine to set 11 school records, Babson College head men's and women's track & field coach Russ Brennen officially announced his program's 2018 schedule on Monday afternoon.
The Green and White will open its season at the Bridgewater State Invitational for the fourth year in a row on March 24. Babson is set to compete at the Tufts Snowflake Invitational on March 31 and will travel to the Coast Guard Invitational on April 7.
The Beavers return to New London, Conn., for the Connecticut College Silfen Invitational on April 13-14 before beginning a busy final week of the regular season on April 18-19 when it competes in the decathlon and heptathlon at Holy Cross. While the majority of the team will take part in MIT's Sean Collier Invitational on April 21, the Green and White will also send athletes to the Mt. Sac Relays and the Long Beach State Invitational in southern California on April 20-21.
Babson will participate in the NEWMAC Championships at Springfield on April 28, which is followed by the NCAA New England Championships from May 3-5 at MIT. The Beavers will also take part in the NEICAAA Championships at Dartmouth on May 11-12 and MIT's Last Chance Meet on May 17.
