SERIES HISTORY
vs. Wesleyan

Babson is 1-3 all-time against the Cardinals in a series that dates back to 2009. After dropping the first three matches between the teams, the Beavers defeated Wesleyan, 3-0, at the Brandeis Invitational in 2013.

vs. Colby
The Green and White will face the Mules for the sixth time overall and the second time this season in a series that dates back to 2001. The Beavers are 4-1 in the all-time series and swept Colby, 25-19, 25-10, 25-9, at the MIT Invitational on September 10 in Cambridge.

SCOUTING THE CARDINALS
Wesleyan (8-3) has dropped back-to-back matches on the heels of an 8-1 start after suffering a four-set loss to Bowdoin last Saturday. Sophomore Madelieine Lundberg had 14 kills and first-year Audrey Konow finished with 33 assists and 14 digs for the Cardinals, who recorded 14 total blocks in the loss. Junior Sarah Swenson is averaging 2.36 kills, Lundberg is contributing 2.15 kills and 2.15 digs and the first-year duo of Nicole Hilton (2.00 k/s) and Gabby Bennett (1.79 k/s) have combined for 1.88 blocks. Konow is dishing out 7.39 assists, while senior Rachel Savage is averaging 3.39 digs.

SCOUTING THE MULES
Colby (4-11) has won two straight matches after defeating Husson, 3-0, on Tuesday night. Sophomore Paige Hanssen finished with seven kills and first-year Nicole Peterbridge added six kills and five service aces for the Mules, who hit .226 in the victory. Hanssen is averaging 2.63 kills and 2.20 digs per set, while senior Karolina Serhan is contributing 2.28 kills. Sophomore Molly Manuel and first-year Mae Sefransky have combined to dish out 8.09 assists, and sophomore Erin Maidman leads the team with 4.42 digs per set.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
Babson (10-7) enters the weekend having won two straight matches after Thursday's 3-0 victory over Emerson. Senior Lorraine Mackiewicz and sophomore Shannon Roseen both had 10 kills for the Beavers, who hit .287 as a team in the win. Senior Jenny Karnes (2.66 k/s), Mackiewicz (2.42 k/s) and Roseen (2.26 k/s) have combined for 7.34 kills, while sophomore Gizem Yilmaz (1.95 k/s) is hitting .252 with a team-high 36 service aces. Sophomore Abby Beecher is averaging 4.60 digs and first-year Elizabeth Cameron is dishing out 8.39 assists to go along with 2.39 digs.

WE MEET AGAIN
Mackiewicz, Yilmaz and Roseen combined to hit .347 while recording 24 of Babson's 32 kills in September's three-set win over Colby. Cameron chipped in with 23 assists and 11 digs, and Mackiewicz and sophomore Lauren Hennigan each finished with four service aces in the match.

GETTING TO KNOW THE NESCAC
Beginning on Saturday, the Beavers will take on NESCAC opponents in six of their next eight matches. The Green and White has gone 1-3 against Colby, Middlebury, Bowdoin and Amherst this fall.

TAKING ON THE REGION'S BEST
Babson, which is ranked 15th in this week's NEWVA regional poll, has faced or is scheduled to take on every team ranked second through 14th, which includes 12th-ranked Wesleyan.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
The Beavers, who are among the national leaders in service aces, have gone 6-1 this season when recording 10 or more aces in a match.
